There have been significant changes to the ice coastline and rock outcrop data across all of Antarctica (December 2015), as well as
major corrections to the coastline and rock outcrop on the South Orkney Islands
The ADD is now completely open data, available free of charge for all uses. There is no longer any requirement to register
to use the site, or to download data
The map viewer has been revamped and has a more modern look and feel
The download facility has been significantly simplified; the previous ability to clip data and resample rasters was very little
used and has been withdrawn
